Nominated for a Katha Award for product design, lamps and lighting category, in Oct 2018. The award ended up going to the “Ikat” Hanging Lamp, which I also developed for Hacienda Crafts.

I made a 3D model to plan its construction. This was important because handmade products made from natural materials are prone to variation. Quality control is important for our markets and for the contemporary look of crafts.
Cross-sectional guides were given to the artisan to achieve the intended shape and dimensions despite being handcrafted.
